Josh was motivated early to start his career by starting his apprenticeship through the Registered Apprentice Program in high school allowing him to attain his Journeyman Certificate as a Carpenter at only 21. He quickly advanced into Forman and Site Construction Supervisor roles focused on commercial and industrial builds. Twelve years in the construction industry complimented his interest in commercial brokerage where he joined a notable brokerage in southeastern Alberta in 2012.

With experience in industrial and commercial sales and leasing, he joined Avison Young in January 2016 and as a Principal in 2022. While the industrial market is his primary focus, Josh enjoys investment and multi-family sales and has served many non-profits with their requirements across western Canada.
