Liam Markhauser joined Avison Young in May 2024 as an Intern and became a Sales Representative in September 2025. Drawing on over 20 years of competitive hockey experience, including professional play in France and the United States, he brings a high-performance mindset, adaptability, and strong work ethic to his real estate career.

Before beginning his real estate career, Liam earned a Bachelor of Arts, with a Minor in Business Management (Magna Cum Laude), from the University of Ottawa. He was also a four-year member of the Varsity Men’s Hockey Team. His background in elite sports instilled the discipline, resilience, and team-first mentality that now shape his approach to client service.
