Tyler Sopik is a Principal at Avison Young and founder of the firm’s National Automotive Real Estate Advisory (AREA) Group. 

Tyler specializes in automotive, industrial, retail, and occupier services, advising both corporate and franchise clients on strategic growth, site selection, property acquisitions, and operational optimization. Through his leadership within the AREA Group, he supports clients in navigating the evolving automotive landscape with practical, forward-thinking real estate solutions. His experience spans a wide range of asset types, including dealerships, service centres, logistics facilities, and manufacturing operations.

Actively working with clients to expand and strengthen portfolios across Canada, Tyler is recognized as a consistent top performer within Avison Young and has been a member of the firm’s Circle of Excellence for 10+ years.
