Michael’s extensive experience spans multiple sectors, including real estate and infrastructure advisory, capital markets, investment sales, leasing, and project management. As a valuable and contributing member of Avison Young's Consulting team, Michael provides calculated insight and advisory services to clients in all markets and asset classes. He possesses comprehensive knowledge and understanding of strategic, financial, and transactional aspects of real estate management and has advised some of Canada's largest owners and occupiers, and institutional and private landlords.

As Manager of Consulting, Michael leads project assignments and collaborates with Avison Young’s leadership team to drive growth for Real Estate and Infrastructure service offerings across Canada. Working directly with clients, he develops and implements comprehensive real estate strategies that align with their business needs and objectives. As a result of his diverse experience in marketplace research, financial and performance analytics, and decision-making processes, Michael achieves key outcomes for clients. He has a proven track record of successfully delivering projects, business plans, business cases, growth planning for capital projects, needs assessments, and analysis to support business and investment decisions.

Michael is experienced in qualitative and quantitative research methods, scenario modeling, financial analysis, and strategic consulting practices, enabling him to deliver best-in-class solutions for clients. Prior to joining Avison Young's Consulting group, Michael began his career as a Sales Representative in commercial brokerage, primarily servicing the Greater Toronto Area and Southwestern Ontario markets. He has a background in underwriting, deal origination, asset marketing services, project management initiatives, and consulting advisory.
