Devin Zitelman currently leads the Mid-Atlantic Region for Avison Young’s Insight & Innovation team.
He has over 8 years of experience working at the intersection of commercial real estate and economic development. Prior to joining AY, he served as the Director of Strategic Initiatives for the Washington, D.C. Economic Partnership where he was responsible for the organization’s contracting pipeline, revenue development, corporate partnerships, and strategic planning. He worked directly with local government agencies, community partners, and Fortune 500 companies, to develop business attraction and retention programs including economic recovery and sector analysis. Devin started his career with the DC Building Industry Association, as their Director of Programs, focused on crafting unique opportunities to generate advocacy for commercial construction and development within the city. During his time at DCBIA, he directed volunteer-based infrastructure improvement projects for underserved neighborhoods through their Community Services Corporation 501 (c) (3).
Devin is actively engaged in the DC business community as an advisor to local non-profits, Partnership Advisor for DC Startup Week, and serves on the Board of Directors for Makers Lab DC. He is an Executive MBA Candidate at the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business and received his BA from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
