About Alex

Alex has 20 years of professional experience, first in management for 10 years prior tovjoining Avison Young as an accountant in 2013. Alex completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Alberta and subsequently completed his CPA designation in 2015. Alex transitioned to corporate accountant for project management in 2020 then transitioned again in 2025 to the role of accounting manager for Canada. In this role he supports our finance team members across Canada while also preparing items for global finance and company leadership.
