About Ilya

Ilya is an established industrial sales & leasing professional who began his commercial real estate journey in 2014 with another global brokerage firm specializing primarily in the core markets of the Metro Vancouver region. During this time, he quickly developed a passion for helping industrial owners and occupiers alike navigate our complex market fundamentals in order to grow their businesses. He prides himself on his local market expertise, “thinking like a client” approach, and relentless dedication to provide the highest levels of service. Ilya joined Avison Young in June of 2022 and is excited to continue his real estate career and grow his brand under the new platform.

Having called Vancouver home for over 15 years, Ilya is excited to passionately promote this exciting growth market that has always led the nation in industrial space densification trends. With a number of successfully completed pre-lease and pre-sale projects ranging from 0.8x to 3.0x FSR (Floor Space Ratio) in density under his belt, he is always excited to discuss practical industrial density options with his clients, helping them maximize their investment in their real estate.

Ilya brings a wealth of deal experience having had exposure to over $1.0B of transactions and seeing over 5.7 MSF of industrial space trade to date and continually hones his skills as a real estate advisor, negotiator, and problem solver.
