About James

James Pero joined Avison Young as an Associate Sales Representative in November 2023. He focuses on providing tenant representation for office and industrial clients, as well as contributing to investment and land transactions. 

Prior to joining Avison Young, James worked at QUBE Properties for 2 years where he was focused on landlord asset leasing, tenant representation, client relations, and market research for the Ottawa commercial real estate market. Prior to his role at QUBE Properties, he served as the Director of Property Management for Avenyn, a Real Estate Investment Fund. He controlled the day-to-day operations and decision making of both commercial and residential asset management and gained invaluable hands-on real estate knowledge which has allowed Landlord and Tenant clients to benefit from his unique experience.

James holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Carleton University. While at Carleton, James was a member of the Varsity Golf Team for 4 years and was named Captain in his final season. James remains passionate about the game of golf and strives to excel in competition.
