About Jana

Jana Salem-Galambos comes to Avison Young from a strong background in customer service and administration. After earning a Bachelor's Degree in English at the University of Lethbridge, Jana has worked in a number of diverse fields. Her experience has given her an innate understanding of organizational operations from entry-level to management. 

Since being introduced to technical writing in 2014, Jana has pursued a professional career as an independent contractor - even throughout 2020 where she was employed as a front-line worker during the pandemic. Jana's experience and education made it an easy move for her to enter the role of Executive Assistant at Avison Young in August of 2021. 

Coming from a large family, Jana spends most of her free time with loved ones. Her passions include art, media, and a love of the outdoors.
