About Michael

Michael started his commercial real estate career in 2006 at JJ Barnicke shortly after graduating from University of British Columbia. He was recruited in 2010 by Avison Young where he excelled and became a principal of the company in 2016. Michael has always focused on serving owners, occupiers, and developers of industrial real estate across the Fraser Valley and Metro Vancouver regions and has developed strengths in land acquisition and development, property dispositions, build to suits, tenant representation, and landlord agency.

A strong track record of assisting clients ranging from local property owners to multi-national corporations is a testament to Michael’s deep understanding of owned and leased real estate, ability to interface with all personality types and skill levels, and access to best in class support, analysis, and marketing.
