About Robert

Mr. Armstrong has over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate specializing in sizeable, complex assignments coincident with representation of many of Canada’s prominent corporate clients. Robert has handled in excess of 950 lease transactions totaling over 12 million square feet and has provided a strategic advisory role in assisting clients determine the best approach to achieve their objectives. Rob works hard and diligently for his clients and is most proud of the long term relationships he has developed, over many years, always focused on “clients first”.

Rob joined Avison Young in January 2009 as a Managing Director responsible for building the Tenant Representation business in Toronto and also working with Avison Young’s National Corporate Services Program. Prior to Avison Young, Rob began his career in real estate in Calgary, Alberta where he worked for NuWest Development Corp. and Lennard Corporation Realty before moving back to Toronto to open up the Toronto office for Lennard. He then moved to Cushman Wakefield LePage where he was a Vice President and Director and was top 10 in office leasing business each and every year of his 20 years of employment. Rob was then asked to join Jones Lang LaSalle as Managing Director to lead their Corporate Solutions Group and develop their business in Toronto, which he did successfully.
