About Robert

Robert joined the Avison Young team in 2015, entering the commercial real estate industry after working a number or years in commercial sales and leasing and was involved in the early stages of getting the Property Management division in Halifax up and running. His work ethic and ability to cultivate honest relationships with his clients gives him a strong, loyal network base for his business. A Saint Mary's graduate, he spent many years in various industries in management and entrepreneurial roles. Robert's success comes with his focus at Avison Young in Industrial Leasing and his vast repetoir of related current market knowledge.

During his career, Robert has guided clients with the disposition of their assets, worked on pre-leasing of retail and office developments, and assisted on site selection for retail clients. Robert also has represented Tenants on lease negotiations for industrial, office and retail lease transactions along with commercial property sales and acquisitions in the previously mentioned sectors. Working in Commercial Real Estate has given Robert the opportunity to work with a wide range of projects involving Local, National and International Companies. Such companies include GDI Integrated Facility Services Inc., Superior Propane, Tim Hortons, Oregan’s, and Yellowstone Commercial just to name a few. 

Interests - Hockey, golf, watching his daughters play soccer, and camping with his dogs.
