About Rob

Rob Quinn joined Avison Young in August 2012 to concentrate on the suburban office, industrial, sales and leasing markets in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario.  Prior to joining Avison Young, Rob had been President and Broker of Record for 21 years at Metro Suburban Realty Ltd, a firm he co-founded in 1989.

Prior to establishing Metro Suburban, Rob had positions with both a major Ottawa commercial brokerage firm and an established real estate development company.

In his capacity as Director of Properties, Rob was responsible for all areas of acquisition, disposition, lease negotiation, tenant relations and market strategies.  In this capacity Rob gained a keen insight into the best practices to achieve winning solutions for all parties involved.

Rob began his real estate career in 1979 in property management.  Rob managed several high density properties across the Ottawa region always keeping the owners objectives at the forefront.

Over the years Rob has worked with numerous multi-national firms, hundreds of successful entrepreneurs, business owners and countless associations.  The assignments have been varied and ranged from amalgamation, relocation, purchase and acquisition, sale and disposition and build to suit.

Rob spends his spare time in sports and volunteer work.  Rob has sat on the Board of Directors of various organizations and has been a front line volunteer as well giving back to a community he greatly appreciates.
