About Rory

Rory Thies is an Associate at the Avison Young Vancouver office, where he focuses on delivering tailored real estate services across the North Shore market. He provides representation and advisory services to tenants, landlords, buyers, and sellers across office, industrial, retail, and investment asset classes.

Rory joined Avison Young in June 2023 as a Brokerage Assistant, supporting North Shore-focused brokerage activities and working closely with Ian Whitchelo and Terry Thies on a range of leasing and sales assignments. This foundation has given him broad transaction experience and a deep understanding of local market dynamics and trends.

In his current role, Rory continues to leverage strong market knowledge and client relationships to guide occupiers and investors through strategic real estate decisions, helping them achieve their business goals in one of Metro Vancouver’s most active commercial markets.

Outside the office, Rory enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it’s skiing the local mountains or mountain biking on nearby trails.
