About Steven

Steven is originally from the Caribbean Island Republic of Trinidad & Tobago. He holds a BA in International Relations with Minors in Economics & Hospitality Management from Florida International University in Miami, Florida.

Since relocating to Canada, Steven joined Avison Young a global commercial real estate firm and has had experience representing clients with sales and leasing of office, retail, industrial and investment real estate. On the Landlord side he has represented private local investors, large private and public corporations and publicly traded REITS. He has also represented local, national and international tenants across a range of sectors including financial services, healthcare, industrial, insurance, non-profit organizations, professional services, quick service restaurants, recreation and technology. Steven currently represents the Avison Young National Hospitality Team for the Canadian Prairies and Caribbean and is a member of The Asper School of Business Young Associates.

Prior to a career in commercial real estate Steven has been involved in Event Management having co-managed events of more than 10,000 people between Trinidad and Miami, Florida. He has experience in Institutional Food Service Management and has also owned his own interior design supply business providing high end wall coverings for residential and commercial projects.
