About Tamia

In her role as a Senior Client Services Specialist, Tamia Thornhill is a dynamic commercial real estate professional, recognized for her strategic approach to operations, stakeholder engagement, and business development. With experience spanning both private and corporate clientele, she has built a track record of delivering impactful, data-informed solutions that drive client success and organizational growth. 

Prior to joining Avison Young, Tamia served as a Real Estate Services Coordinator at CBRE, where she supported high-value transactions from lead generation through to deal close. She plays a pivotal role in developing market intelligence reports, managing proposal and pitch development, and implementing digital marketing strategies that enhance client engagement. 

Prior to her commercial real estate career, Tamia held analytical and business roles at RBC Royal Bank, where she contributed to operational efficiency, policy development, and recruitment strategy. Her early experience in financial operations and human resources strengthened her ability to integrate data-driven insights with client-focused strategy – a hallmark of her professional approach. 

With a Hons. B. Sc. in Life Sciences from McMaster University, Tamia is known for her professionalism, leadership versatility and commitment to advancing equity and inclusion in the workplace, whilst bringing a people-centred and results-oriented perspective to the evolving landscape of commercial real estate.
