Joy Starr’s Real Estate career began in 1999 when she worked as the National Property Controller for a Real Estate Services company, responsible for the Accounting division which encompassed residential and Commercial portfolios of more than 6,000,000 square feet.

She gained her CGA in 2010. Throughout her career she has been responsible for multi-million-dollar budgets, full cycle Property Accounting, reconciliations, reporting to clients with various ownership structures, preparation of audits and liaising with external auditors including the CRA.  Joy has consistently managed and mentored teams using a collaborative approach through training and constant communication. She adapts quickly to new systems, work cultures and works hard to foster collaborative relationships.
