Avison Young completes sale of one of Quebéc’s largest medical centres, located on Montréal’s West Island

Global commercial real estate advisor, Avison Young, announces the sale of Brunswick Medical Centre, amongst the province’s largest medical complexes, offering full-service care to the residents of Pointe-Claire and beyond.
Located at 953-981 Saint-Jean Boulevard, the Centre receives more than 300,000 patient visits annually, offering 30 different clinical services ranging from family medicine to emergency care, and specialities such as pediatrics and cardiology.
Sold to Réseau MaClinique, Avison Young’s Mark Sinnett, Yann Charles, Sara Leblanc, and MC Laflamme-Sanders were the exclusive advisors and agents for the vendor. This is the largest sale of a medical office building in recent years.

The two four-storey towers form a part of a complex totaling 119,561 square feet, sharing a ground-floor podium. Situated on a prime, transit-oriented site, near Highway 40 and the future Fairview-Pointe-Claire REM station, clients appreciate its accessibility and comprehensive service offering, while employees enjoy a high-quality work environment that includes a fitness centre, rooftop terrace, on-site pharmacy, and bank. With a 95% occupancy rate, major medical tenants include Lobe and Medicus.

In 2025 thus far, sales volume for medical centres in the Greater Montreal area have reached an unprecedented high – already more than double that of 2024, and five times greater than in 2023.
