As the Canadian Operations & Compliance Coordinator, Andreea focuses on the implementation and the deployment of operational infrastructures in terms of systems, processes, and compliance across Canada. Andreea is responsible for ensuring operations compliance with legislation, rules and regulations and assist with the development of processes, controls, and training to meet the regulatory requirements.

As a certified Compliance Officer, Andreea works closely with Avison Young’s Centres of Excellence to create, produce and update centralized access to all Canadian policies, and actively participates in Avison Young’s procurement initiatives, while implementing programs across Canada.

A valuable member of the Montreal Operations team between 2014 and 2021, Andreea was previously focused on the development and implementation of local procedures, assisting with the oversight of daily operations of Quebec offices, ensuring compliance with company standards, policies and procedures, coordinating various projects, arranging and assisting with employee training, as well as providing any needed operational support. Actively involved in the local accounting activities, Andreea additionally acted as the Local Revenue Processor (LRP) for Quebec from 2016 to 2021.
