Marta Simoes has over 20 years of experience in operations, human resources and talent management. She joined the team in 2012 under the Devencore banner, and she is now a key member of Avison Young’s executive team in Montréal following the merger of the Montréal operations of the firms in April 2021.

Acting as operational point of contact for Avison Young’s marketing, human resources, information technology, insight, accounting and legal departments, Marta ensures complete and efficient liaison with the brokerage, project management and corporate solutions teams. She has a client-centric approach and leverages her excellent people skills and her assertive personality by engaging teams proactively, while using her critical approach to efficiently solve issues before they arise. 

Quick and witty, Marta rapidly understands contexts and challenges in order to formulate ideas and propose viable solutions that are in line with the company’s guiding principles. Further, Marta’s efficiency and resourcefulness allow her to manage projects in a timely, productive, and competent manner. A leader in her field, Marta is known for her ability to assemble and manage teams and to encourage employees to give their best and to succeed within the company.

Marta is fully trilingual (French, English and Portuguese).
