With a diverse background, Pierre-Luc O'Brien has developed relationships in the sports and business worlds. Thanks to a full hockey scholarship, he completed his B.A.A. at an American university, in addition to being twice named student-athlete of the year. He then played professional hockey for five years in the United States and Europe until 2014, and ended his athletic career to pursue his career in real estate with Devencore in 2015, as commercial leasing specialist, focused on tenant representation. He joined Avison Young in 2021 as Avison Young and Devencore united their Montreal operations.

A keen mind in the pursuit of business strategy, Pierre-Luc is a dynamic thinker who sees the big picture, and who has the necessary business acumen to move the actions forward in the right direction. His established relationships and concrete real estate experiences allow him to easily share creative real estate solutions in order to meet the specific requirements of his clients, whether with young companies or high-growth institutional companies. For several years, his network of clients has diversified, so he is very proud to be full of resources and to establish long-term relationships with his clients, thus becoming an essential business partner in their business development.
