Toronto, ON – Avison Young is bolstering its occupier services division in Toronto, with the arrival of  Principals Stan Krawitz, Paul Kay and  Allen Grinberg.

“Stan, Paul and Allen are a force to be reckoned with, and it gives me great pleasure to welcome them to Avison Young,” said Joe Almeida, Principal and Managing Director of Avison Young in Toronto. “They bring tremendous experience and expertise in occupier services – an asset class that we’ve been building out globally so their arrivals will improve upon our high-quality offering.”

Krawitz, Kay and Grinberg will be responsible for helping occupiers reach their goals with their office, industrial and life sciences facilities. They will offer integrated, customized solutions, by collaborating with the comprehensive occupier service lines within Avison Young, including Workplace Consulting, Insights & Innovation and Project Management, all while ensuring a seamless experience for clients.

For more than 30 years, Krawitz has been hailed as one of the leading brokers in Canada’s competitive commercial real estate landscape and he has been entrusted with some of the most critical projects, totaling more than 30 million square feet. A Harvard trained negotiator, skilled at reaching consensus among stakeholders, he provides effective, insightful counsel, creative ideas and strategic thinking.

Having spent more than 20 years in commercial real estate, Kay brings senior-level leadership expertise, specializing in tenant representation and contract negotiation. Highly skilled at strategic planning and financial analysis, he takes a holistic approach to client service by incorporating a complex offering in his toolkit. Kay is a graduate of the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Grinberg brings 25 years of experience providing comprehensive counsel to tenants and investors. With a background in office furniture and ergonomics, he is able to better understand the connection between people and how they work effectively and efficiently. Grinberg works with a range of companies, from rapidly growing start-ups to some of Canada’s largest, most respected brands. He is an MBA graduate of the University of Hartford and holds a Bachelor’s degree from York University.

“I absolutely love what I do – and it’s this relentless determination to help my clients reach their goals that draws me to Avison Young, because we have that passion in common,” says Krawitz. “I’m looking forward to working with Paul, Allen and our new colleagues to help clients achieve their full potentials.”

“Avison Young offers us access to something we’ve never experienced before – and that’s world-class intelligence and technology platforms on a Canadian platform that connect us to research experts and real-time data,” says Grinberg. “We’ll exceed client expectations even more than we already do.”

“Cross-functional offerings are an important part of my toolkit for clients so I’m looking forward to collaborating with the many different service lines and partners across Avison Young, to deliver a truly holistic approach,” says Kay.
