Brett Armstrong is a Vice President responsible for providing office leasing and advisory services with Avison Young and is based out of the organization’s global headquarters in Toronto.

Brett has focused his career on developing long-term corporate relationships with some of the most prominent local, national and international organizations. Brett’s clients range from publicly traded corporations, private companies, technology start-ups and non-profit organizations.

Throughout his career Brett has completed in excess of 200 lease deals totalling over 3 million square feet and has gained extensive knowledge on Toronto’s marketplace and built a reputation for developing creative and out of the box solutions for his client’s needs. In addition, much of Brett’s depth of knowledge and experience has developed outside of Toronto while partnering with global enterprise clients and managing large portfolios of leased and owned assets.

Since joining Avison Young in 2012, Brett has demonstrated significant market consistency and success amongst his peers. Brett has ranked in the top 5 amongst Avison Young’s Emerging Leaders and has been the top producing Emerging Leader in both 2017 and 2018. In 2018 Brett finished in the top 3 in sales production amongst all Avison Young professionals in Ontario.

In 2018 Brett was proud to have been named SIOR’s Central Chapter’s Young Professional of the Year, which recognizes industry leaders in Ontario for market transactions, market consistency and industry reputation.
