Stefan Banea is a Marketing Associate on Avison Young’s Québec Capital Markets Team. In this role, he acts as the team’s voice to the marketplace, responsible for managing all communication efforts. He also supports the team’s thought leadership and research production efforts across all asset classes.

Prior to joining Avison Young in March of 2023, Stefan had been with JLL since 2022 as a Research and Communications Specialist. Stefan works with designers and brokers in the production of flyers, proposals, sales campaigns, and confidential information memoranda. He is tasked with overseeing the team’s online presence and developing the team’s digital communication strategy. 

Highly adaptable, Stefan’s background spans both the hard sciences and the arts. He worked as a freelance editor of scholarly journals and tutored and taught English as a second language to young professionals from around the world.
