Downtown Vancouver technology occupancy insights (Fall 2022)
In the last few years, technology firms have been at the forefront of hybrid and remote working. This movement away from the occupancy of traditional office space begs the questions – why and where are they moving now?
To understand these significant changes, Avison Young has written the Technology occupancy insights paper to chart and analyze the past, present, and future occupancy trends of technology firms around Metro Vancouver.
In particular, the report will be focusing on the growing number of subleases that are appearing in Downtown Vancouver, with around 80% of these subleases originating from the flight of technology companies.
The report will then pose the question of “what next?” as the volatile occupancy trends of technology firms continue.
