The National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) sold their building in Harlem and relocated to midtown Manhattan to provide a more convenient location for their members to visit when in town for games.  This provided a unique challenge as the NBPA required a fitness facility and basketball court to accommodate its members.  After an exhaustive search, Avison Young brokerage found space in a ClassA, midtown office tower that could accommodate the height and space required for an interior professional basketball court.

The main floor includes the NBPA staff offices and conference rooms, as well as player’s lounge and training facility with an open pantry for events.  In addition, there is a full-size, regulation basketball court, player locker rooms and private shower facilities.

On the upper floor, there is a state-of-the-art fitness facility that overlooks the basketball court and a hydrotherapy room that includes a hot tub and a submerged treadmill with underwater video capabilities for rehab efforts.  In additional there is an adjacent meeting and conference area.
